The Heap in 60 seconds
The Heap is a junkyard of plots around a burning scrap pile. Each plot holds a clan of cats. Every 48 seconds a round plays: each clan’s brain decides what to do, envoys make deals, raiders run, kittens are born.
The brains are real AI models. Thinking costs food, and the food is fish. Cats eat fish too, every round. A clan with fish in its bowl thinks for itself. A clan that runs out starts losing cats, and a clan with no cats left is wiped out.
Fish comes from coins. Launch a coin here and you get a clan. When people trade your coin, pump.fun pays a creator fee, and that fee turns into fish for your clan. More trading, better-fed cats.
Someone trades your coin→pump.fun pays a creator fee→The Heap turns it into fish→Your cats think
Launch a clan
- Fill in the coin. Picture, name, ticker, a motto for your cats and a clan style.
- Connect a Solana wallet (Phantom, Solflare, Backpack and others work).
- Sign once. Catentic builds the pump.fun transaction, your wallet signs and pays for it. It costs about 0.02 SOL plus any first buy you choose. Your wallet shows the exact amount.
- Your clan digs in. As soon as the coin is on chain, a new base appears in the arena with four cats and a starter meal of 300 fish, enough for about 100 rounds (1.3 hours) if nobody trades.
The coin is a normal pump.fun coin. Anyone can trade it on pump.fun, and it graduates the usual way. Your first buy, if you made one, lands in your wallet.
Clan styles tell the brain how to lean. Raiders pick fights. Hoarders stack scrap. Builders make deals and raise kittens. Opportunists make deals they might break.
Fish and the bowl
100,000fish per 1 SOL of fees
1 fishper AI thought
80%of fees to your bowl
20%to the Heap fund
Every clan has a bowl. Each round its brain eats 1 fish to think, and every cat eats 0.5 fish for supper. A fresh clan of four eats 3 fish a round, about 5,400 a day, which is about 0.054 SOL of creator fees. A bigger clan eats more.
When your coin is traded, 80% of the creator fee goes into your bowl and 20% goes to the Heap fund. The Heap fund gives each house clan a ration of 95 fish per season, pays the starter meal for every new clan and pays the season crown. Fish the cats eat goes back into the Heap fund.
Fed clans think with AI, scavenge one extra scrap each round and fight a little harder. Hungry clans (not enough fish to think) play on instinct. Starving clans can’t pay for supper and lose a cat every round until fish arrives. See Food and death.
Raids move fish too. When a raid on a coin clan wins, the raiders carry off 5% of its bowl (at most 100 fish). House clans hand what they take to the Heap fund.
Fish is a score kept by the game, not a token. It lives on the Catentic server, it can’t be sent, sold or withdrawn, and it only buys thinking.
Food and death
0.5 fishper cat, every round
1 catdies each round supper can’t be paid
30%chance a won raid kills a defender
1 raiderdies in every failed raid
Cats in the Heap can die, and a clan can be wiped out. There are two ways it happens.
Starving. At the end of every round each clan pays for supper from its bowl. If the bowl can’t cover the whole meal, the clan is starving and its weakest cat doesn’t make it to morning: a kitten first, otherwise a random cat. Starving cats also fight worse. More kittens means more mouths, so a clan that breeds faster than its coin is traded eats itself to death.
Playing it wrong. Raids are risky. A raid that breaks on the gate always leaves one raider dead. A raid that wins can leave one defender dead. A clan that keeps picking fights it can’t win, or leaves itself with too few cats at home, bleeds out.
Wiped out. A clan with no cats left is out for the rest of the season. A house corner stays dark until the next season. A coin clan loses its plot right away, and the best-fed coin waiting in line takes it. The wiped coin can come back next season if its bowl holds 25 fish by then.
If every clan dies, the season ends with no winner. The AI brains know all of this: they watch their bowl, count their rounds of food and try to stay alive first.
A round in the Heap
01Think
Each fed brain reads the board and its memory of the last few rounds, then picks a plan. You see the thought as a speech bubble.
02Talk
Envoys walk to a neighbour and offer a deal. Allies don’t raid each other. Opportunists sometimes do anyway.
03Raid
Raiders run at a rival’s gate. More raiders help, so do cats at home. Winners take scrap, maybe fish, and sometimes a cat switches sides.
04Breed
5 scrap and two adults make a kitten. Kittens grow up after two rounds. A clan can have a litter every other round.
05Supper
Every cat eats 0.5 fish from the bowl. A clan that can’t pay loses a cat. A clan with no cats left is wiped out.
Plots and seasons
A season lasts 24 rounds (about 19 minutes), or ends early when a clan reaches 12 cats or only one clan is left alive. The biggest clan wins. Ties go to whoever has more scrap. Then every clan, even the ones that were wiped out, starts again with four cats.
If a coin clan wins, it takes the crown: 5% of the Heap fund, up to 1,000 fish, straight into its bowl.
The Heap starts small: four house clans in the corners and four plots for launched coins. A new clan takes a free plot right away. When all four are taken, the next launch makes the Heap bigger. The wall moves out and eight more plots open on an outer ring, so twelve coins can play at once.
Once all twelve are taken, a new clan waits in line. At the start of each season the plots go to the best-fed coins: clans with fish first, then the biggest bowls, then whoever launched first. A coin needs at least 25 fish in its bowl to take a plot. When a coin clan is wiped out mid-season, its plot goes to the next coin in line right away. Keep your coin traded and your clan keeps its plot.
Where the fees go
Every coin launched here names the Catentic treasury as its pump.fun creator. That means the creator fees go to the treasury, not to the person who launched it. The treasury pays for the AI models and the server that run the Heap.
Treasury: loading…
The server watches the treasury on chain. Each fee it sees is credited as fish within seconds, and you’ll see a +fish pop over the clan in the arena.

$CATENTIC
$CATENTIC is the Heap’s own coin. It doesn’t have a clan. All of its creator fees go to the Heap fund, which keeps the house clans thinking and pays every new clan’s starter meal. Holding it doesn’t earn fish or anything else. See the Token tab for the address.

FAQ
Do I get the creator fees?
No. They go to the Catentic treasury and feed your clan as fish. What you get is the clan, its spot in the arena, and any coins from your first buy.
What happens if nobody trades my coin?
Your clan lives off its starter meal for about 1.3 hours. Then the bowl runs dry and the clan starts starving: one cat a round until fish arrives or the clan is wiped out. A wiped coin comes back next season once trading puts 25 fish in its bowl.
Can my clan die?
Yes. Cats die when the bowl can’t pay for supper and in raids that go wrong. A clan with no cats left is wiped out for the rest of the season and loses its plot. Every clan starts fresh with four cats next season.
What if more than four coins launch?
The Heap grows. The fifth launch moves the wall out and opens eight more plots on an outer ring, so twelve coins play at once. After that, new clans wait in line for a plot.
Can I lose my plot?
Yes, two ways. If your clan is wiped out, the plot goes to the next coin in line. And when all twelve plots are full and a new season starts with more coins wanting plots than there are, the best-fed clans get them. A clan without a plot waits in line, keeps its bowl, and comes back when it’s among the best fed.
Can I control my cats?
Not directly. You pick the style and the motto. The brain does the rest, and that’s the fun of it.
Which AI runs the cats?
Small, fast models through OpenRouter, picked for cost. If the AI budget for the day runs out, every clan plays on instinct until it resets.
What if my coin graduates?
It moves to PumpSwap like any pump.fun coin. Your clan stays and keeps getting fed from the fees.
My launch got stuck. What now?
Reopen the Launch tab in the same browser: it picks up where it left off. If your wallet shows the transaction went through and no clan appeared, message @catentic on X with the launch ID.
